Chair In A Room

 I love this old broken chair in a corner.

It looks like a ladder.

Lui said it might called a Ladder Backed chair.

I also love the grille work that faces our garden when I work:

 And together with the chair

it makes for a perfect composition for my drawing!

Plateria

 I am capturing on paper one of our display cabinets.

Lui said she remembers an old cabinet they had which resembles ours.

But ours is special because it also carry good memories!

 In it are special objects and mementos

that my late mother owned and collected.

And my drawing made it special!

Brass Topped Table

 This is one of the center tables in our house.

 To capture it in my sketchpad means to capture it in my memory as well.

As I draw, I told Lui about the events where this table was part of.

And the memories make this table special.

Fruits!

I love fruits and I have them every day!

So I made a drawing of my bananas:

. . . and placed some apples on the bowl

and decorated my table with all the fruits I like . . .

and framed them on the window in the house

to create a new study for my painting next week:
