Wall Clock

I am doing our antique wall clock again.
Please check my early posts.

Lui said she likes my interpretation of it before.
Lui wanted to see how I will do it in pastels instead of paint.
And this is my line drawing.
I draw fast in 10 minutes!

And my final work in 30 minutes!

Meal Chimes!

Today I am doing our meal chimes again.
I painted this before and posted it.
I love this bell because it has an animal design on top and when somebody pull the strings, it means it is time to eat!

This is my line drawing. This is how I interpret it. Teacher Lui said I should make my own interpretation.

And my final work in 30 minutes!
The hand on the right is my own hand outlined by Lui!

Merry-go-round!

Teacher Lui asked me to draw colorful carnival rides.
I do not really go to the carnival.
I get dizzy.
But teacher Lui showed me how to draw the merry-go-round.
I made bird rides instead.

My Christmas Tree!

I am painting my Christmas tree early. Christmas starts early in the Philippines. I also told my art teacher Lui that if she will exhibit my works, I want to include Christmas in my collection.

Bintana

This is my line drawing of a bintana. Bintana is a filipino word for a window. It has squares and colored circles to make it look like capiz shells. I saw windows like that in some places in the Philippines. The lower part of the bintana has carved railings.

I am again using oil pastels on white felt paper.

And my finished work after 30 minutes:

This is my second work for the day. I did the Lantana flower and the Bintana in one day! They will both be included in my portfolio for exhibition.

Our Lantana Flower!

I do not really like to draw or paint flowers but my art teacher Lui showed me a close-up of our Lantana flower that blooms during summer. The picture of our Lantana flowers last summer can be seen from the pictures on the right.

This is my line drawing interpretation of the flower. I am again using oil pastels on colored felt paper. This time I am using blue felt paper.

And my work in progress:

And the finished work below I did in 30 minutes! I really work fast. This is my 7th work which I am compiling for a possible art exhibit.
