Oil Pastel Drawings

This is my drawing of the Fabian de la Rosa painting we have in our house. It is a painting of a woman on a rice field. And this is my abstract version of it:

Same drawing, same details but I abstracted it!
Can you see the clouds, the rice field and the woman's dress?

Portraits!

This is my drawing of my mother.
She has white hair but I used gold instead.
I can not use white pastels on a white paper.

And this is my drawing of Cora.
Cora is my mother's yaya.
She takes good care of my mother.

And this is my late brother Miguel:

My mother said it does not resemble Miguel at all.
My teacher Lui said that it is not easy to do portraits.
Lui said I should just draw what I see or remember
and someday my drawings will improve.

My Yellow Week!

For my August 4 art session, I decided to do a portrait of our former President we fondly and simply call "Cory" which made my art teacher Lui shed a tear. It was Cory's funeral that day which made it more memorable. I also made my version of Ninoy, Cory's late husband. Together, Ninoy and Cory made people power possible. . .
