This is the typical house in the countryside.
But every month of May in Lucban, Quezon
this house gets decorated to give thanks
to their patron saint, San Isidro Labrador,
for a good harvest.

so I decorate the house with a whole banana bunch
and flowers and vegetables around the windows!
