I start with a square.

Then I draw the whole thing . . .

I color everything using my watercolor pencils:

Then I paint over the colors using wet brush:

Flowers on Vase

I am doing wet and dry techniques again.

I start by drawing the vase and 

coloring it using watercolor pencils.

I color the lower half of background

using green oil pastels.

I paint the upper half of background

using light blue acrylic paints.

I use dark brown watercolor pencils around jar

for tonal value before I paint over it. . .

I paint the flowers using acrylic paints.

Then I paint over diluted yellow acrylic paint

over the green pastel background:

Surprise!

I made a drawing of ice cream and cake. . .

I paint over the washable crayons using wet paintbrush to blend it.

And here it is!
